One of the group then turned round and returned to the two boys.

He started punching one of them to the head and told him to hand over his belongings.

The other boy then tried to assist by putting out his arm to stop the offender. The offender then punched him and took his bike.

The group of boys then started walking back towards the incident and so the two victims decided to leave. The group walked off in the direction of Walnut Tree.

No one was injured during the incident.

A distinctive bicycle was stolen which has a chrome, reflective frame, red writing, chain and pedals and a yellow seat.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Hannah Watling, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am releasing this image as this person may have vital information about this offence.

“It is fortunate that the victims weren’t injured as a result of this and I am keen to hear from anyone who may be able to help with the investigation.
