Do you recognise young man police want to speak to about an assault in Milton Keynes?

Police have released a CCTV image of a boy they would like to speak to following an assault and attempted robbery in CMK.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was cycling along the path behind the Milton Keynes Islamic & Cultural Association on South Row when he was approached by two teenage boys.

He was pulled to the ground whilst the boys tried to take his bike, but they were unsuccessful and they left the scene on foot.

The victim sustained minor injuries to his elbow but did not require any hospital treatment.

The incident around 2.40pm on Tuesday January 28,

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Martin Camp, said: “I believe the person in this CCTV image may have vital information to help this investigation. If you recognise this boy, or believe it could be you, please get in touch by making a report online or by calling 101 and quoting reference 43200031443.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain 100% anonymous you can make a report to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

A 16-year-old boy from Milton Keynes was arrested yesterday on suspicion of robbery and was released under investigation.
