Thames Valley Police have released an E-fit image of a man officers want to speak to in connection with a robbery in Milton Keynes that has left an elderly man in hospital.
At around 8.20pm on 31 May 2016 on Wedgwood Avenue, Blakelands, a man presented himself at the front door of an elderly couple requesting to enter the property to adjust the water pressure.
After being refused access, the man pushed the victim to the floor.
After entering the property the man told the second victim an elderly woman, to remain silent, and assaulted her as she struggled with him.
While this was happening a second man was searching the rest of the house.
The men left empty handed, but the elderly man suffered injuries and is still being treated in hospital after he was pushed over.
The first offender who is shown in the E-fit is a white man aged in his forties, with a normal build but broad shoulders and is around 6ft. He did not speak good English and is possibly European.
He was wearing a light blue sweat shirt, a black face covering and a black baseball cap.
The second offender is a white male, 6ft tall with a chunky build and possibly European.
“I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in the E-fit to come forward by visiting your nearest police station or by calling 101,” said Investigating officer, PC Damien Freeman of Local CID based at Milton Keynes Police Station
“I would also appeal to anyone with any other information about the incident, in particular if you saw two men acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Wedgwood Avenue, Blakelands on Tuesday 31 May or two men heading towards Tongwell lake shortly after 8.20pm then please do get in touch.”
