Fishermead shooting accused plead not guilty

Three men charged with the murder of Mohamed Abdi Farah and Amin Ahmed Ishmail on May 26 this year have pleaded not guilty to the charges at Luton Crown Court today.

Yahya Harun, Sharmake Abdulkadir and Fuad Awale are charged with two counts of murder and were all remanded in custody to appear at Luton Crown Court for the trial on 20 February next year. Abdulkadir is also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence, namely murder, a charge he also pleaded not guilty to.

The trial is expected to last for between four and five weeks.
