Five people remanded in custody after police probe into stolen property in Milton Keynes

Five people have been charged with a number of offences as part of a police investigation into stolen property.

They were charged on Thursday and Friday last week following warrants which took place on Thursday.

Ryan Lines, aged 36, of Tatling Grove on Walnut Tree, Craig Gillings, 28, and 38-year-old Hayley Goodwin, both of Sunset Close in Bletchley, were all charged with one count of conspiracy to convert criminal property, one count of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and one count of conspiracy to steal.

Marc Ewing, aged 31, of Bellway, Woburn Sands, was charged with one count of conspiracy to convert criminal property.

Richard Barrett, aged 28, from Wellingborough, was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft of a vehicle.

The charges are in connection with incidents which occurred in and around the Milton Keynes area between January 2017 and April 2020, say police.

The five people appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday. They have been remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 1 June.
