There have also been two reports of robbery, which are under investigation by CID, two reports of grievous bodily harm with intent and three of public order offences and actual bodily harm.

Worryingly, there have been 21 'domestic crimes and incidents' recorded. These range from non-crime incidents to allegations of threats to kill, theft, harassment and assaults, say police.

Early turn officers also have started their shift with four missing person investigations. In each case, enquiries are ongoing to locate the missing people.

There were four custody handovers this morning, with detainees held on suspicion of offences ranging from domestic assaults, supplying drugs, grievous bodily harm and theft from motor vehicle.

Meanwhile, officers are dealing with three unauthorised encampments of travellers, all of which require ongoing partnership work between MK Council and neighbourhood teams.

"There are also a number of open jobs for attendance and 39 reported crimes for our Smarter Resolution Team to follow up with victims today," said a police spokesman.

He added: "Remember, these are new offences in addition to ongoing investigations that the teams carry."
