Flasher targets teenage girl in underpass

A man exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl in an underpass on Thursday morning.

The victim was walking through an underpass in Monks Way, between Heelands and Bradville, when she was approached by an unknown man.

He exposed himself and stretched his arm out before she ran away.

The offender was white, 6ft, of athletic build and aged in his early twenties. He had short brown stubble.

He was wearing a dark grey hooded top with three stripes on the left side, dark black jogging trousers and white trainers.

The offender was walking a Staffordshire bull terrier which was predominantly white with black patches and a black tail.

Investigating officer PC Ross Gehnich said: “Although the offender did not have any physical contact with the girl, the incident was a frightening experience for the victim.

“Neighbourhood officers are investigating the incident and have been conducting patrols which are ongoing in the area.”
