Councillor Emily Darlington, Cabinet member for public realm said: “MK Council is continuing to crackdown on illegal fly tippers in Milton Keynes. It’s just not acceptable to dump waste wherever you like and expect someone else to clean it up. Please use one of the Household Waste Recycling Centres.”

The council's Environmental Crime team leader, Pete Roberts said: “We continue to use CCTV to catch offenders in the act.

“There are three Household Waste Recycling Centres in MK and this man’s waste would have been accepted at all of them for free.”

Fly tipping carries a maximum sentence of an unlimited fine and/or five years imprisonment. MK Council can also issue £250 Fixed Penalty Notices for minor offences.
