Four sexual offences, six violent crimes and four robberies reported in Milton Keynes in the past 24 hours

Today's daily list of reported crimes to police includes a string of sex offences, assaults, robberies and domestic incidents.

A daily management meeting chaired by local police commander Marc Tarbit has detailed all the crimes reported to MK police during the last 24 hours.

First on the list was an attempted residential burglary, which happened in Charbray Crescent on Shenley Brook End, where a suspect was seen trying the door handles of a house in the early hours of the morning.

There were also four reports of robberies, all of which are under investigation by Priority Crime Team (PCT) officers, along with six reports reports of violent crime where actual bodily harm was caused.

Fifteen domestic crimes and incidents need to be reviewed for investigation. These range from non crime incidents to allegations of sexual assaults, breach of non-molestation orders, theft and stalking.

Four reports of sexual offences have been passed to CID or the Child Abuse Investigation Unit (CAIU) to investigate.

There is also one report of race/hate crime, where a racially aggravated public order offence was alleged to have been committed towards a member of custody staff at the police station.

Early turn officers also have started their shift with four missing person investigations to deal with, along with one unauthorised encampment and one report for non-compliance of Covid related matters.

There are also 20 open jobs for attendance and 34 new reported crimes for the force's Smarter Resolution Team to follow up with victims today.
