Girl, 13, flees thief after attempted robbery

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after an attempted robbery of a mobile phone on Saturday.

At about 8.30pm a man wearing a ski mask over his face approached two girls on the corner of Langland Road and Buckland Drive in Netherfield.

The offender tried to snatch a mobile phone from one of the girls but failed when the 13-year-old victim managed to run away.

PC Martin Connor from Milton Keynes police station said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident as they may have useful information to help with our investigation.”
