Girl, 16, taken to hospital after assault by two other girls in Milton Keynes

Police are searching for two teenage girls who seriously assaulted another girl near the library in Central Milton Keynes.

The victim, who is 16, needed hospital treatment.

The assault happened at 5.30pm on Saturday March 21 behind a block of flats on Silbury Boulevard, next to the library.

Police say the offenders were both white girls in their teens.

The first girl is described as around 5ft 6ins tall, of muscular build, with long blonde hair tied in a ponytail. She was wearing a grey puffa-style coat with a black fur hood, a black long-sleeved top, black jogging bottoms and black Nike trainers.

The second girl is described as around 5ft 5ins tall with brown curly hair tied in a high pony tail. She was wearing a black puffa-style coat, a black t-shirt, black jogging bottoms and Nike trainers.

Investigating officer, PC Emma Clarke said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who has any information, to please come forward.

“The victim sustained an injury to her knee that has left her unable to work at the moment."
