Good samaritan assaulted after going to aid of three road crash victims near Milton Keynes

A woman was assaulted after trying to help three men involved in a road accident in Lavendon last night (Thursday, October 17).

The offenders then stole a car in Olney Road before driving off towards Olney.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the robbery.

The first victim, a woman in her 40s, heard the accident in Olney Road at around 9.45pm involving a White Ford Transit van. The three occupants assaulted her before attempting to steal her car.

After failing to take the victim’s keys the offenders walked down the road and flagged down another vehicle.

They then assaulted the three occupants of this vehicle, a woman, teenage boy and a man in their 20’s. All the victims suffered bruising and facial injuries

After stealing the vehicle, a silver Peugeot, the offenders drove in the direction of Olney. The car was later found burnt out in Bedfordshire.

The first offender is a white man in his late thirties, around 6ft tall of big build with ginger stubble on his face. He was wearing a black hooded jacket which seemed to be a thin waterproof.

The second offender is a white man in his early to mid 30s, around 5ft 11ins tall of average build.

The third offender is a white man in his mid 30s, around 6ft of average build and was wearing all black clothing.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Thomas Belcher of Milton Keynes Investigation Hub, said: “This was a very distressing incident for the victims involved.

“There is likely to have been a number of people who witnessed what happened and I am appealing to anyone who has information about this incident to get in touch.
