“He was charged with serious offences, and has now been sentenced to prison accordingly...This sentence makes Milton Keynes a safer place for our communities to live and work, and I am pleased he will serve a custodial sentence.”
DC Gofton added: “Through Operation Deter, we adopt a zero tolerance approach to anybody caught in possession of a knife, and we will also seek to pursue and prosecute those who feel it is acceptable to carry such dangerous weapons. You can expect to be charged and remanded swiftly if found in possession of such items, and we will never tire at putting offenders before the courts.”
