Man arrested after dramatic police chase through Milton Keynes

At around 11.30am on Saturday (12/9) officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Cranesbill Place however it drove off - as previously reported by The MK Citizen.

Police embarked on a dramatic chase through Milton Keynes supported by the force helicopter.

The vehicle, a blue BMW, eventually stopped in Fennel Drive.

Police have now confirmed an arrest has been made in relation to a series of offences.

A 20-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving a motor vehicle other than in accordance with a licence, fail to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by a constable, possession with intent to supply a class A drug, theft of a motor vehicle and using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance.

He has since been released under investigation.
