Man charged after BMW is stolen and abandoned in Milton Keynes

A 30-year-old man was charged after burglars broke into a Milton Keynes home and stole a BMW.

Between 12pm and 4.30pm on Monday (January 27) offenders broke into a property in Pannier Place. A white BMW 6 series with a convertible black roof was stolen.

The BMW was spotted on Marlborough Street and was later recovered in Conniburrow after it had been abandoned.

Detective constable Alan O’Donoghue said: “I am appealing for witnesses following this incident, which occurred at a time of day where I believe it to be likely that someone will have witnessed it.

“I would also like to appeal for any motorists who were parked or travelling in the area, specifically in Marlborough Street, with a dash-cam to review it to check if has captured anything significant. Similarly, if you have CCTV from the time of the incident. Please make a report to us.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting 43200029862. Reports can also be made online.”
