Man in Milton Keynes stabbed as he stopped to use his phone

A man was left needing hospital treatment after he was attacked as he stopped to use his phone in Oldbrook.

At around 3.40pm on Thursday (September 17), the victim was walking through an alleyway off Oldbrook Boulevard, in Oldbrook.

But when he stopped to answer his phone, five offenders attacked him, pushing him to the floor and then kicking and punching him. He also suffered minor stab wounds to his head and neck.

He attended hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

The victim - a man in his 20s - recalls the description of just one of the offenders. They are described as a black male, aged between 16 and 18, and was dressed in a grey hooded top with the hood up, and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Investigating officer, PC Barry Gargett, of Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident of assault, which was a terrifying experience for the victim.

“If anyone was in the area at the time of this incident and believes they have any information relating to it, please contact us.

“Alternatively, if anyone thinks they may have seen or heard something in relation to this, please make a report.
