A man was punched in the stomach during an attempted robbery in a Bletchley underpass on Friday morning.

The 20-year-old victim had just left the underpass at the junction with Saxon Street and was walking along Watling Street when he was approached by a man at around 8.20am.

He was then attacked, and the offender reached into the victim’s jacket pocket.

However the victim managed to pull himself away and ran into B&Q.

The offender was white, 6ft tall, of average build, with stubble, and was wearing a grey hoody and a red and white scarf.
