Milton Keynes burglaries sees criminals escape with electronic goods

Two burglaries on Friday afternoon saw the culprits escape with a range of electronic gear.

The incidents took place in Trueman Place, Oldbrook between 1.30-10.30pm. Offenders forced entry to one house through a rear window and to the second via an insecure window.

They stole an Olympus camera, Gemini sat nav, white iPad and X-Box 360 from one of the houses.

Det Con Samantha Reynolds said: “Police have serial numbers of the stolen electrical goods in this case and they are registered as stolen on the national database CheckMEND.

“We would direct members of the public to look on the CheckMEND website for advice on purchasing second hand electrical goods. If an item is being sold at a very cheap rate there is a good chance it is stolen – don’t risk having the items seized and being left out of pocket.”

If you have any information which could help with the investigation, contact Det Con Reynolds on 101.
