Anthony White, aged 66, from Stantonbury, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault at Aylesbury Crown Court.

He was sentenced to two years and three months’ imprisonment, and was also placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years.

The charges relate to sexual assaults against a woman in her twenties in Milton Keynes in 2016 and 2017.

Designated investigator Samantha Arnold said: “I’d like to thank all involved in the investigation, and especially to the victim for her courage and determination.

“This was clearly a distressing period of time and she has shown great courage in coming forward and in supporting the case through the Criminal Justice process. I am pleased with the conviction and hope that this will help the victim and her family with closure.
