Pictures: Car spun out of control during dramatic police chase in Milton Keynes as driver fled on foot

Police helicopter was called out to track the driver who ran away from officers during the incident

The incident happened at around 12.45pm on Saturday (September 12th) in Conniburrow, Milton Keynes.

Our photographs show a navy blue BMW that had been chased by police in a dramatic high speed pursuit before it lost control on the Fennel Drive roundabout, near H4 Dansteed Way (Linford Woods entrance to Conniburrow).

An eyewitness told The MK Citizen: "The two front wheels ended up on the the grass and the rear on the road. There were skid marks where the car lost control with two police cars around it. The police helicopter came out when the driver got away."

It is not clear what the incident was regarding or whether police located the driver or made any arrests.

The MK Citizen has approached Thames Valley Police for a comment.
