Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a store in Milton Keynes on Friday night (4/11).

At 9.53pm, two men wearing hooded tops and balaclavas went into Hodge Lea Food and Wine in Brookside, Milton Keynes, armed with knives.

The men threatened members of staff and demanded they hand over cash and cigarettes, before also taking the till and its contents.

They fled the scene on foot and were last seen heading into Dunvedin Place.

Det Con Darren Street, based at Milton Keynes CID, said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the employees but thankfully no one was hurt.

“Did you see the incident taking place, or the men entering or leaving the store? Do you know who is responsible?

“If you have information which could assist our inquiry then I would urge you to come forward as soon as possible.”

If you can help, please call Det Con Street via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police or leave your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
