Police close down house that's been centre of anti-social behaviour on Milton Keynes estate

A three month closure notice has been served on a city estate house after a string of complaints.

The Fishermead house and its occupants have proved a "persistent nuisance" with complaints of anti-social behaviour and criminality, say police.

Officers applied for the closure court order in partnership with MK Council. It was granted by MK Magistrates Court.

A closure notice prohibits access to the premises for the period specified in the notice.

It can be used for a house used for drug dealing or to close a house whose residents are the cause of serious anti-social behaviour such as frequent loud parties, harassment or intimidation of neighbours.
