Police hunt four masked attackers who robbed lorry driver at knifepoint outside Milton Keynes warehouse

Thames Valley Police (TVP) said that between the hours of 1.45am and 3.45am yesterday (Wednesday, November 25), a lorry driver was parked up outside Magna Park near to John Lewis waiting to unload his trailer.
Officers said the driver’s cab was broken into by four men who held him down at knifepoint and then drove him to a layby northbound on the A5 near Caldecotte.

Hide AdAccording to police, the offenders unloaded most of his trailer into a large van or small truck, between 7.5 and 10 tonnes, and then unhitched the driver’s trailer from his cab.
Police said the offenders kept the driver at knifepoint and drove him in his cab to a layby southbound on the A5 past Little Brickhill before forcing him to walk out into the woods.
Officers said the driver’s cab was then set alight and was seen burning at 3.45am and police were called.
According to Beds, Cambs & Herts Roads Policing Unit on Twitter, the vehicle was 'subject to a number of explosions'.
The victim, who is 37, was unhurt during the ordeal.

Hide AdPolice said the lorry that was robbed was a 40-tonne Man truck with a white cab and a white and blue trailer and the offender’s vehicle was a van or truck, but the colour is not known.
TVP said a large quantity of Bose electrical items were stolen during the incident.
The offenders are all described by police as white men.
One offender was between 5ft and 5ft 2ins tall, slim and aged between 25 and 30-years-old. He was wearing black clothing with a hood up and a black facemask. He was also carrying two knives.
The second offender was between 5ft 7ins and 6ft tall, slim to medium build, and aged between 30 and 35-years-old. He was wearing light coloured cargo trousers, a black jacket and hood with a black face mask.

Hide AdThe third offender was around 6ft tall, slim and aged between 35 and 40-years-old and was wearing all black with a face covering.
The fourth offender was between 5ft 7ins and 6ft tall, slim and wearing dark clothing and a facemask.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Jo Hudson said: “This was a distressing ordeal for the victim, who thankfully was not injured as a result of the incident.
“I am appealing to anybody who was in the vicinity of Magna Park or travelling along the A5 between Caldecotte and Little Brickhill between 1.45am and 3.45am and believe that they witnessed any suspicious activity to please make contact with police.
