Police are hunting for a gang who broke a teenage boy's jaw while attempting to rob his sports bag in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police (TVP) said the incident happened at around 6.30pm on Wednesday (October 28) when the victim was walking along an alleyway in Leven Close.

Police said the victim was approached from behind by several people who pushed him to the ground and attempted to take his sports bag.

According to TVP, the victim refused to give them his bag and he was subsequently assaulted.

Officers said the boy received injuries to his face, including a broken jaw, and required medical treatment at the Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Susan Russell said: “The description of the offenders is unknown at this time, but I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information to please get in touch.
