Thames Valley Police said that at approximately 6.45pm on Thursday (November 19), the victim, a 24-year-old man, was approached by the group of four males who were riding scooters, believed to be either stunt scooters or electric scooters, outside the Post Office in Netherfield local centre, Farthing Grove.

Officers said the group began attacking the victim by punching and kicking him and the victim ran towards the Co-op, seeking refuge inside the store.

He was chased and attacked inside the shop and received a stab wound which required treatment at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Police said one person from the group had a cage or splint around his right lower leg.

Investigating officer detective constable Greg Hughes said: “This was a nasty incident and the victim received what appears to be a wound caused by a sharply-bladed instrument.
