A spokesperson from the Sir Herbert Leon Academy, in Bletchley, - where the girl reportedly goes to school - said it is aware of a number of 'attempted abductions' in the area.

The spokesperson said: “We are aware of a number of abduction attempts being made outside schools in Milton Keynes and we are working in partnership with other schools in the area to ensure our students and their families are aware of this situation and are taking all appropriate action to ensure their safety.

"We have encouraged parents to collect their children from school, or if that is not possible, then for students to walk home in pairs.”
