Police release photos of large-scale cannabis factory found in Milton Keynes

Officers raised an address in Old Groveway yesterday morning after neighbours had contacted them with concerns.

It is understood the smell of cannabis could be strongly detected in parts of the village.

Police found a full-scale hydroponics operation with hundreds of plants.

They removed the plants, which will now be destroyed. But the premises were deserted and no arrests have been made.

Investigations are continuing today.

A police spokesman said: "There have been no arrests and no persons were present at the address."
