Robbers use Taser gun to take mobile phone

A pair of robbers took a mobile phone after threatening their victim with a Taser gun.

The victim was walking along Kellan Drive in Fishermead when at 12.10am on
Monday (July 21) when he was approached by a man who asked for a cigarette.

When he refused a second man then approached him from the bushes holding a Taser and demanded the
victim’s phone. The victim handed over a dark blue Samsung S3 mini to the offender.

The second man then told the victim to leave, when he glanced back later both men had gone.

The first offender is
described as black 5ft 6ins, of a skinny build, wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up, tied tightly around his face.

His accomplice was black, 5ft 8ins and of a bigger build than the first man. He had short black hair, with a neat beard along his jaw line and chin, with a thin line shaved through the right side of his face. He wore a short-sleeved black T-shirt and dark
coloured jeans.
