Rocks thrown at car from Milton Keynes bridge in early hours of morning

A driver has told how he narrowly missed injury when a rock was hurled at his car at 4.20 in the morning.

The heavy white stone was thrown from a bridge over the V11 Tongwell Street near Walnut Tree yesterday (Sunday).

Fortunately the driver managed to keep control of the car and avoided an accident. But he has published photos of the large dent in his roof the rock caused.

He said: "This is a very serious crime that has been reported to the police If an object falls on the windshield it could result in a fatal accident."

The incident has been reported to police and CCTV cameras in the area will be checked.
