Seven men were arrested in connection with drugs offences in Milton Keynes yesterday.
During a series of search warants under the Misuse of Drugs Act, Thames Valley Police recovered £50,000 worth of drugs along with large quantities of cash.
The men, aged between 30 and 60, are currently in custody.
Superintendent Gez Chiariello said: “As part of this operation, a series of drugs warrants were executed across Milton Keynes today, in response to issues raised by the local community.
“This response to local people’s concerns demonstrates how seriously Thames Valley Police takes drugs offences.
“The possession and supply of illegal drugs will not be tolerated in our community and these warrants and arrests are an example of some of the work officers are doing to crackdown on drugs offences in Milton Keynes.”
He added: “Enquiries are ongoing following today’s warrants and I would urge anyone with information about drugs offences to contact police via the 101 number.”
