Teenager rushed to hospital by air ambulance after being hit by car

A teenage girl had to be flown to hospital with serious head and leg injuries after a road traffic collision.

The 17-year-old pedestrian was struck by a blue Ford KA on the V2 Tattenhoe Street near the junction of Vernier Crescent at 4.40pm on Friday (April 17).

She was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital by air ambulance.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
