Milton Keynes Trading Standards received notification of a National Insurance scam from a Milton Keynes resident.
The resident was left a voicemail message from a fraudster claiming to represent National Insurance.
The scam artist using a mobile number claimed that the person's NI number had been compromised.
The purpose of the scam is to gain access to a victim's personal data.
