Two expected at court charged with GBH

Two men are expected to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates Court today after being charged in connection with an incident on Sunday where a police officer was injured.

Ashley Barber, 29, of Carron Court, Bletchley and Dale Whiteside, 31, of Pinders Croft, Greenleys, have both been charged with Section 18 GBH in connection to the injuries on the police officer in Hodge Lea Lane.

They have both also been charged with robbery in connection with the theft of a VW Passat taxi in High Street, Stony Stratford.

Barber has also been charged with aggravated vehicle taking as a passenger and Whiteside has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking as a driver.

The two women arrested, aged 24 and 27, have been bailed to appear back at the police station on 20 February.

The 39-year-old man arrested in connection with this incident has been released without further charge.
