Two teenagers arrested after man in 70s was pushed off mobility scooter and assaulted in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following 'terrifying' incident of grievous bodily harm which had left an elderly man in hospital in Milton Keynes.

At around 2.40pm on Monday (29/6) the victim, a man aged in his 70s, was pushed from his mobility scooter and then assaulted by two offenders in Ravensgill Court in Heelands.

He was taken to hospital where he remains.

Nothing was stolen from the victim.

Officers have made two arrests in connection with this incident.

Investigating officer, PC James Elliott, of Milton Keynes police station, said: “This was a terrifying experience for the victim, who was pushed from his mobility scooter and then assaulted, leaving him with injuries requiring hospital treatment.

“I understand that this could cause worry within the community in Heelands, Milton Keynes, however I would like to offer reassurance to the public that we have made two arrests in connection with this incident.

“I am however seeking witnesses, or anyone who has information relating to it.

“If anyone believes they saw this incident taking place, or anything in the build up to it, we would like to hear from you.
