Vandals launch two mindless attacks on community's café in 24 hours in Milton Keynes

Anita's Place in Newport Road New Bradwell advertises its "welcoming and friendly atmosphere" and the fact that staff always welcome people in for a chat.
Owner Anita Fussell says: "Anita’s place was designed to be homely and welcoming that’s why the word cafe wasn’t used. I wanted people to feel welcome at all times, I may advertise food but want people to pop in even if just for some company. Our kettle is always on."

Hide AdBut two attacks by vandals on two consecutive nights has has left a bad taste in the mouth of the community.
Yesterday (Monday) Anita went to open up to find an entire can of white paint had been thrown over the door of the premises.
She posted on social media: " Thanks to the **** who woke up early to do this this morning. The paint is still wet. We are still open and smiling - just watch your step."
No sooner had the paint been cleaned off, then vandals struck again. This time they scratched the glass window with a sharp object - and then attempted to break in.

Hide AdAnita posted today: "Someone has tried to break into my shop last night. Luckily someone saw so they left no damage other than scratched glass. What wrong with people?"
She said no money was ever left in the shop overnight and there is nothing worth stealing.
The attacks have caused outrage among Anita's Place customers.
One posted on social media: " Anita Fussell is such a lovely lady, who would help anyone , so for someone to be doing this to her is really upsetting."

Hide AdAnita has thanked residents who helped her clear up the mess and vowed to stay open as usual.
She sells hot and cold food to eat in or take away and also a variety of drinks, including pre-workout and protein shakes.
