The graffiti was sprayed on during the night. It partly consists of the 'tag' CIMIE, which is a familiar one in MK.

Alderman Paul Bartlett, who lives in nearby Stony Stratford, has urged Mk Council to remove the graffiti as soon as possible.

He is also asking for an immediate investigation to be held to discover the identity of 'CIMIE' and has suggested a reward be offered to anyone who has information.

"The tag CIMI is all over MK, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. Someone will know who it is," he said. .

"I suspect someone in the Stony area and who is very mobile so not a child or teenager. The council should offer a reward to catch this person."
