Witness appeal after man is robbed in his home

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a 50-year-old man was robbed and attacked at his home in Milton Keynes.

The man was walking home to Coltsfoot Place in Conniburrow last Monday (12/09) at 10am when he saw two men who he recognised. The victim began to run and was chased by the two men who then pushed their way into his house and his bedroom.

The victim was then attacked with a wooden stick as the two men demanded cash. His pockets were searched and £110 in cash and a Nokia mobile phone were taken. He was treated at Milton Keynes General Hospital for cuts and bruises.

Police are looking for two men in connection with the incident. The first is white, 5ft 10- 6ft, aged between 24 and 26, and is thin with short black hair. He was wearing a black hooded top that may have had a Gap logo on it, and black jeans. He was clean shaven and carrying a black holdall.

The second man is also white, 5ft 8 and between 24 and 26 years old. He is thin with short grey hair a grey beard and moustache with ginger flecks, and was wearing a grey jacket, black bead style necklace, black jeans and black trainers. He was carrying a grey drawstring style bag.
