Witness appeal after man shot by gang

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Milton Keynes yesterday.

Between 5.25pm and 5.35pm, a 29-year-old man was walking was walking from Tesco Express over the redway to Walnut Tree, towards Highgate. As he walked past three men, who were stood off the redway, by the Blackberry Clinic car park, he was then shot in the leg by what to be a paintball or BB gun. The men then ran off towards Blackberry Clinic.

The victim sustained a graze and bruise to his leg.

The first man, who was holding the weapon, is white, 18 to 20 years old, slim, and 5ft 8ins. He was wearing a baggy black hooded cotton jacket which had a zip up the front, black Adidas jogging bottoms with white stripes and black trainers.

The second man is black, 18 to 20 years old, slim, 5ft 9ins and was wearing a black pump jacket with a hood which was of a silk-look material, black jogging bottoms, and black trainers.

The third man is white, 5ft 4ins, and slim. He was wearing a black woollen hat with a peak at the front, a black fleece-like short jacket with a zip at the front, jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the offenders should contact PC Christopher Ruvolo-Jones via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
