Witnesses sought after attempted robbery

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Milton Keynes.

The victim was walking through an underpass under Danstead Way between Conniburrow and Linford Wood when she was approached by a man who demanded money from her.

The victim activated her personal alarm, at which point the offender used a weapon of some sort to scratch to the victim’s face and hand.

The victim was not seriously harmed during the incident and did not require hospital treatment.

Thames Valley Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area between 9am and 9.20am on Wednesday (August 26) and who saw anything that might help with the police investigation.
