Woman, 60, rescued from violent attack in Central Milton Keynes

Police rushed to saved a 60-year-old woman from a "violent and unprovoked" attack in CMK yesterday (Tuesday).

A man has since been arrested and the victim, after medical treatment, is now being safeguarded, say officers.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "The suspect is currently in the custody cells and will also be dealt with for several other offences that they have been identified as a suspect for."
