A WOMAN in Fishermead was victim of a ‘frightening’ sexual assault on Monday.
The 24-year-old victim was walking home along Fishermead Boulevard at around 6pm on Monday night when she was attacked from behind by a man.
He grabbed her, forced her against a wall and kissed her, before assaulting her. The victim screamed and the offender ran off. He was about 5ft 7ins, black and aged around 20-years-old. He was wearing a black coat with a hood.
Milton Keynes Insp Brian Rose said: “This was a frightening attack on a woman walking home but we want to assure the community that incidents like this are extremely rare.
“Officers will be in the area today, offering advice and reassurance.”
He added: “This was a time when many people would have been returning home from work and I urge anyone with any information to get in touch.”
Anyone with information should contact investigating officer Selena Nolan at Thames Valley Police on 101.
