A 10k challenge in support of the British Heart Foundation and ROSA was held in Milton Keynes recently.
The Milton Keynes branch of BAPS Swaminarayan Cultural Centre organised this year’s event, which aims to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds to give back to their community.
Guest of honour was MK Council leader Peter Marland who opened this year’s challenge with a traditional ceremony.
Cllr Marland said: “It was a great pleasure to be at the BAPS Charity annual 10k challenge walk/run supporting the British Heart Foundation and ROSA.”
It was held at Campbell Park pavilion.
Funds raised will go to the British Heart Foundation’s training toolkit and ROSA, a charity for young women and girls.
