Film star Benedict Cumberbatch took to Twitter yesterday to answer fans’ questions about his new film filmed at and set in Bletchley Park.
The actor will appear in The Imitation Game, in which he plays wartime code-breaker Alan Turing who was part of the top-secret Government Code and Cypher School.
Fans could post their posers on Twitter with the hashtag #AskBenedict
Asked what his most memorable experience was at Bletchley Park, the actor wrote: “First time I visted and steppping on set in character.”
His favourite quote from the film is “It is the very people who no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine.”
And he paid tribute to “the brilliant work of quiet heroes at Bletchley Park. How near to losing the war we were.”
