Cycle marathon for hospice in memory of '˜amazing' dad
Kerry Kennedy has spent months training for The Henry Kennedy Cycle Challenge, which takes place on Saturday, June 4, starting at 6am at the hospice.
The route has been mapped around the lake area, covering a 6-mile loop and Kerry welcomes other cyclists to join her for all, or just part of, the journey and help towards her fundraising target of £3,500.

My mother was also at Willen Hospice, and for me it’s a really special place. The nurses are relentless in their quest to provide the care that each patient requires. To alleviate suffering and provide comfort.
“Dad was a real inspiration and never gave up, he played golf until seven weeks before he passed, and smiled every day. I learnt from him to be strong, to follow my dreams and never to give up.
My father was amazing and I want to honour him by raising this challenge into an annual event.”
To donate, visit https://www.justgiving.com/K-Kennedy2 or text HKCC90 and the amount to 70070. Or you can call Kerry on 07703 716226.
