Day nursery pupils in Milton Keynes pay their own poppy tribute for Remembrance Day

Children of all ages spent the day painting, drawing and creating their own poppies in Remembrance of fallen soldiers.

“Whilst the children don’t really fully understand the details of why we mark Remembrance Day we encourage them to learn about respecting those who have made our world a better place through selfless acts,” said Louise Higgins, senior nursery manager.

“Learning about Poppy Day is one such way we can do that.”
