Day nursery's Top 10 rating from parents

Daycare provider Acorn Childcare was last week announced as one of the top 10 recommended large nursery groups anywhere in the UK.

And its Shenley Church End day nursery – which celebrates its 20th birthday this month – was named as one of the top 10 recommended individual nurseries in the south east of England.

The daynurseries.co.uk Top 10 Nursery Awards highlight the most recommended nurseries both nationally and in each UK region.

More than 12,000 UK nurseries have been reviewed on the website, with each nursery receiving an overall score out of 10, based on parents’ feedback. Parents give first-hand views on key factors such as care, learning, activities, cleanliness and nutrition.

Chief executive of Acorn Childcare, Zoe Raven, said: “We believe that parents, and of course their children, like our approach to childcare and these awards suggest we are getting it right.”
