WESTMINSTER is calling for students from Shenley Brook End and Stantonbury Campus schools.

After triumphing at the semi-finals of this year’s Schools Parliamentary Debate, organised by city MPs Iain Stewart and Mark Lancaster, the students are participating in the Final at Parliament.

The event is open to students in years 10-13 from the 13 secondary schools in Milton Keynes and topics debated are of an open nature.

Milton Keynes South MP Mr Stewart said: “This is the third year in a row I have conducted these debates and I am enjoying them more than ever. I am impressed and even inspired by some of the debaters’ enthusiasm and skill.”
