FRIENDS and family of a terminally-ill six-year-old girl have just one month to raise £380,000 to save her life.
Little Millie D’Cruz-Parsley suffers from a rare genetic condition that will kill her before she reaches the age of 15.
The one hope of beating the muscle-wasting condition, called Juvenile Metachromatic Leukodystrophy, lies in a pioneering bone marrow and cord blood transplant available only in America.
But it has to be done within four weeks, before Millie’s fragile frame deteriorates beyond repair.
“The situation is now critical and we need all the help that we can get to raise these funds,” said friend of the family Lin Goddard.
Millie’s school, St Mary Magdalene Catholic Primary, has raised an incredible £5,000 in the past six weeks towards the six month treatment.
Now supporters are urging more people to donate as soon as possible via www.helpmillie.co.uk
