Distinctive wreath stolen from grave in Newport Pagnell

Thieves stole a distinctive wreath from Newport Pagnell Cemetery during a burglary.

Between 8pm on Monday, September 17, and 5pm on Wednesday, September 19, thieves stole the wreath from the grave of the son of a 57-year-old woman in the Tickford Street cemetery.

The wreath is very distinctive as it was made up to look like a can of Carlsberg beer. It is between 2ft and 3ft high and composed of artificial flowers on a metal frame

The victim is distressed at the theft of the wreath and police are appealing for anybody who has information about this incident, or who saw any suspicious activity in the area, to come forward.
