Do you recognise this man?

Police are releasing a CCTV image of man who may have information about a robbery in Netherfield.

At around 11.50am on Saturday 13 February, the offender approached a 20-year-old man in Farthing Grove, around 200 yards from the shops.

He grabbed the victim around the neck and forced him to walk to a cashpoint where the victim withdrew a small amount of cash. The cash was then handed to the offender who made off.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image as he may have vital information about the robbery.

Investigating officer PC James Macaro said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in these CCTV images to contact police immediately as we believe he might have vital information that can aid our appeal.

“This was an extremely frightening experience for the victim, so it is important that if you have any information, no matter how insignificant you think it might be, you should contact police by visiting your nearest police station or calling 101.”
